About
Philippine Airline is the first and oldest commercial airline in Asia which is operating under its original name. Headquartered in Pasay City, the airline serves in 31 domestic and 41 international destinations. The airline was severely affected by the Asian financial crisis of1997 after the airline no longer remained the largest Asian airline.

Class of Travel
Philippine Airline provides three travel classes in most of their aircraft;
Business Class - Philippine Airlines provides guests with lie-flat seats which have extra legroom. All seats have a four-way headrest, shelf for personal storage, headphone hook and noise cancelling headphones. On aircraft which do not have an inbuilt entertainment system, guests are provided with iPads with no additional cost.
Premium Economy Class - Also known as Economy Plus, it offers guests with a different seat design which comes with an extra layer of padding and a headphone jack and USB port. On aircraft which do not have an inbuilt entertainment system, guests are provided with iPads with no additional cost.
Economy Class - Previously known as Fiesta Class, the seats come with a four-way headrest and an inbuilt screen with headphone jack and USB charging ports. The seats also recline which allows the passenger to rest well on short and long-haul flights.
Baggage allowance
Economy class passengers are allowed 7kgs for carry-on and 10-25 kgs for checked-in luggage.
Business class passengers are allowed 7kg for carry-on and 30-40k kgs for checked-in luggage.

Frequent Flyer Programme
Mabuhay Mileshere is the Frequent Flyer Programme which allows members to earn rewards while booking flight tickets and buying things on board. Mabuhay Miles has been divided into four tiers which are self upgraded once members start accumulating miles/rewards. Members can avail privileges which include priority waitlist, check-in, extra luggage allowance. Million Miler member can access VIP lounges along with other additional on-boarding privileges.
In-flight Services
Philippine Airline has redefined In-flight entertainment with the free myPAL which provides a tasteful selection of the new TV shows, movies, music and games which can run up to 300 hours. The airline allows passengers to stay online while flying with the complimentary Wi-Fi Hi-Speed which allows one to surf the net or stay connected through social media. Guest can renew data at an additional fee. The airline also offers myPAL Mobile which allows one to catch up with friends though call and text.
Check-in
Domestic Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs to 1 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
International Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs to 1.5 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
Onboard Support
Philippine Airline provides assistance for passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check in are provided by on ground staff. Passengers can choose a service that best suits their need. Expectant mothers and parents of unaccompanied children can read the regulations and policies before flying here.
Refund & Cancellation
Passengers can cancel their booking ONLY through Philippine Airline sales’ offices. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
